Mantova fascinates and amazes the visitor since his arrival, posing as a city surrounded by the waters of the River Mincio and the Three Lakes : Lower, Upper and Middle.

Mantua is a Unesco World Heritage town,  and, in addition to water, it impress for the beautiful (and visitable) Palazzo Ducale, a veritable realm for the majesty and grandeur of the complex.  The local family of Gonzaga made of the city one of the main centers of the Italian and European Renaissance.

The city is also famous for the beautiful Palazzo Te, the Palazzo del Podestà, the St. Peter's Cathedral, the Basilica of St. Andrew, however, is the overall glance, as well as the appeal of its waters, to make Mantua a unique city.

Do not miss the visit to Sabbioneta, a small village which is surprising for its beauty.which it shares with Mantua the Unesco recognition.

It worth noting that Mantova is a short distance from Verona (about 30 km) so a hypothetical route Verona-Mantua-Sabbioneta would discover countless artistic and natural treasures in a reasonably short distance.
